Today I honor my princess, my daughter, Marissa. She is strong, loving, amazing, and so much more. 6 months ago she asked me to train with her and run a half marathon. We signed up and ran the OUC half marathon Dec. 6, 2025.
What is so extra amazing about her is her drive to start and finish regardless.
During training, she found a job that requires long hours thus less time to and no training for her for 8 or more weeks. With her strong will to succeed, she completed the OUC half marathon with me. She pushed me more than I pushed her.
It was a great feeling to start and complete this challenge with my sweet baby girl.
I have so much love for her and am very proud to call her my princess, daughter, and baby girl. , ,

For Father's Day I honor my family. Marie, James F., Marissa, and Jeremiah have made sacrifices unconditionally to assist me with the care of my mother. So today, I prepared shrimp poboy sliders with fried pickles for lunch and fish stuffed with crab and spinach in a lemon butter sauce, with wild rice and garlic knots for dinner. They make being a father an easy role. Much love to my Tribe.
