Anyone may find this useful. However, I have issues w/numbers 6, 7 & 15. Call me an outlier, but for me,

Milan = MEE - laan,
Orion = Orr - EYE - on &
Soda = soda. 🤷🏻‍♀️

After 13 years, I’ve learned to live with no. 7, of course 😉 ♥️

You’ll only hear these names in Michigan. Anywhere else, people think you’re just clearing your throat or making a weird sound to startle a cat. They look at you like you’ve been possessed by an ancient maritime spirit.

Ypsilanti. Fake. Dowagiac. Absolutely not. Kitch-iti-kipi sounds like a rhythm section in a jazz band. Pequaming feels like something you’d find at the bottom of a tackle box

GPS hesitates. Siri just goes quiet and hopes you know where you’re going. Out-of-staters start sounding them out like they’re trying to decipher a secret code from the 1700s. They see Onekama and panic. They see Hamtramck and their brain just reboots.
