Weekly numbers from Portland Metro (per RMLS's definition, as shown in the map). Make sure when you hear stats about Portland Metro (and probably most other 'metros'), you're doing the apples-to-apples (🍎2🍎) thing. There is also Portland Metro as defined by, well, Portland Metro and there is the Portland Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). They're all different!

As I often mention, statistics are meaningless if you don't know what you're really looking at 🧐. (Often they're meaningless, period, if we're being honest - tailored to suit someone's needs). These weekly stats are fun to look at but they have two strikes against them. They're a huge area of disparate property types and values & they're weekly - real estate needs longer periods to see trends. (If you were doing cellular research 🔬🔬, perhaps one week would be multi-generational and too long?? And no, I'm not a doctor of cellular research. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)
