Kris Kachirisky was raised on entrepreneurial spirit. When she was six years old, her parents joined together to start a business in the Athletic and Outdoor Industry that focused on problem-solving innovation. An only child, her father raised her to take over the business and, long before the days of “take your daughter to work day”, unabashedly took her on sales calls to small independent retail

ers and the biggest retailers in the country alike so she could learn the business world from the “shotgun” seat. In the years to come, she would negotiate through “make or break” situations, design the product line, lead marketing efforts, manage a national sales force and international distributors, and was the best in the company when it came to customer relationships. As President, she would lead the corporation through seas both stormy and fair and was named in Sporting Goods Business’ prestigious “40 Under 40”. Through all the challenges and successes, her father taught her that without integrity and compassion, everything else becomes meaningless. While attending college at California State Polytechnic University, Kris majored in English to hone her longtime passion for writing. While she entertained becoming a writer at one time, she found her creativity and communication skills were more useful when applied to marketing as she specialized in bringing a technical product to life in a relatable, convincing way. Now, she brings her creativity, design knowledge and color expertise, marketing savvy, negotiation, and relationship building skills together in the work she is truly passionate about, helping people find home. With a high degree of professionalism, integrity, knowledge, and humanity, Kris sees her work as being less about sales and more about service and advocacy for her clients’ goals. Kris’ background of leading through challenging circumstances with compassion, strength, and good humor has given her the skills needed to de-stress one of the more stressful passages in people’s lives, transforming it into a positive, rewarding, and empowering experience. When not working, Kris voraciously consumes time with her spouse, two teenage kids, and their virtual “zoo” of animals; she enjoys reading, good movies with subtitles, long conversations, raucous laughter, and road trips, preferably to someplace with a body of water and some kind of boat.

Oh, such mixed feelings about this one!! I am SO delighted for the sellers of this incredible home on Becket, but I’m a little sad I won’t get to sit at this dining table anymore during an open house, enjoying the golden light and watching the trees shift in the breeze. SUCH a special and lovely home!!

We had this home on the market last Fall and the market was just stinko. My best advice was to take their home off the market and wait. Don’t chase the market down and drop drop drop the price. We pulled it from the market in early November, which gave the family time to enjoy the holidays in peace, then we waited and watched the market for rejuvenation.

We returned to the market just a couple weeks ago and BOOM—we had two great offers from which to choose. This time, instead of chasing the market down and sacrificing price, they got a great price and perhaps more importantly, 2 full months to find a new home and even get started on some updates in the new place before moving in.

Sometimes the best advice I can give someone is DON’T buy, DON’T sell. We always work to keep our clients’ best interest at the forefront of everything we do, and it’s fantastic when it delivers great results for the people we care about. Congratulations to you both—we are SO excited for you!!!

Ok, I know this is comically late, but it’s still fun to review the year.

It was a challenging year in many ways, so early on I made it my mission to focus my attention on joy. That included trading my SUV for a red, convertible sports car, that included spending time in the garden, and spending time with my family, friends and community. We had two major losses and one wonderful addition in our pet family and the delight of the union of my mom and her husband as our families combined and grew in love and support.

Our team motto is, “we are here to serve our community, sometimes that includes real estate.” This year, I was honored to advise many households, sometimes through a transaction, sometimes by providing vetted resources to help people better maintain their homes, sometimes by suggesting people wait to buy or sell until the timing and circumstances are right for them. I am often most proud when I tell someone not to buy (or sell); my priority is always on what’s best for my client, not me.

What were the highlights of your 2025?

2026 is off with a gallop and some exciting new developments that will enable my team to serve our clients with an even higher level of service and care. We also are honored to already be helping several buyers and soon, several sellers as we bring their homes to market and support them through their transitions.
