When I met Chuck & Kristin more than a year ago they already owned a gorgeous home. The first thing Chuck said to me was “We love our home but bring me an old barn, church or schoolhouse to renovate into our dream home.” For moths we looked at old barns but nothing was quite right. So they decided to stay in their home, but I kept looking anyway.
A few months down the road, I found them a 100 year old school house. They loved it. We offered. We were outbid. 😩 I remember telling them everything happens for a reason and it will all work out how it’s supposed to. Filled with disappointment they again decided to stay put.
A few months go by and I learned of an off-market 1930’s church for sale. When I called them to tell them they were shocked and a little apprehensive. I took them to see it and they were in love! It had original elements, amazing views and even original stained glass. We put in an offer which was accepted! We worked closely with the seller to ensure some original items stayed such as, 2 pews, pulpit stands and the original bell in the bellfry!
This will be such a fun project for my amazing clients and it’s an even better fit than the schoolhouse they missed out on. What a wild ride and a challenge that I was more than happy to take on. Congrats to my clients! 🎉🎉

We listed this home within a week and then went pending with multiple offers in just a few days. We closed out at $1,203,00 which is $153,000 over the list price! 🔥
My clients were so thrilled and I couldn’t be happier for them!! 🎉🎉
