Is this the Ferris Wheel going up? It is surely going to be a site to see once completed. I think this is a really big visual stimulant for Lake of the Ozarks. It is yet to be seen how the amusement park will do financially but what a cool thing for the lake to have on the water. We have all seen so many pictures of The Jersey Shore wheel and several others nationally. Now it will be right here in our back yard. Hopefully it will be similar to when I was a kid, I would come across the dam and know I was at the lake. Just the sounds, sights and even the smells lol. Now it will be a new generation seeing this wheel at the lake and associating it with Lake of the Ozarks. Everyone has been asking for family entertainment for years and now we have someone working to do it. I'm sure it will be expensive to ride the rides at the park but it costs an unreal amount of money to make these things happen. Let's support them and be glad they are willing to make the investment to get a return on their money. I have no association with this group, have no details on how they got where they are and certainly have no insight on their business or how they conduct it. I'm just saying I am glad there are here versus somewhere else. It will be a stimulant for the lake economy which helps pay all of our bills.

Looking for a less expensive way to get on the water. This home at the 58 mile marker is listed for only $175,000. The water is not deep but can certainly float a boat in the summer and has been used by this family for years. Great way to get on the lake!
