Every September the same question starts coming in: where should we take the kids for pumpkins this year?

So we put the whole answer in one place. Our 2026 Fall Around the Lake guide has 20 pumpkin patches, corn mazes and harvest farms within two hours of Lake of the Ozarks, sorted by drive time.

A few to know right away:
• Eschenbrenner Farms in Wooldridge is free and opens this weekend, Sept 26 and 27, then every Saturday and Sunday after.
• The Cave in Brumley and MECCA Farms in Roach are about 30 minutes from the lake and open weekends starting October 3.
• Still Waters Farms in Richland is showing It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown by the pond on October 3.
