A transplant to beautiful Lake Placid Florida, Alice Oldford has more than 25 years’ experience, compassion and passion for land use. She specializes in facilitating every detail of real estate transactions. With her natural and professional attention to detail, Alice is a good fit for implementing the step-by-step process whether you are a first time buyer, an empty nester, a growing family or as
piring snowbird. Working efficiently makes the process smoother. Alice attributes her passion for all aspects of land use as her motivation toward a career in real estate. Before becoming a Realtor, Alice had a background in law, specializing in real estate transactions, and working as a land use board administrator. Alice has also been a sales manager for builders marketing new communities. She handled every facet of the sales process from explaining blueprints to customization to closing title. More recently she authored 2 books for NJ hikers, “You Can Get There from Here – Hiking Hunterdon County Trails” and a sequel, “Hiking NJ Trails – Hunterdon County and Beyond.” She has also authored “Recipes and Life – Life is Too Short to be Stuck in the Kitchen,” which reflects her passion for fresh food, home-made and homegrown, prepared without devoting hours and hours in kitchen time. Alice is a Florida real estate broker associate and a graduate of the Realtor’s Institute. She is a member of the Heartland Association of Realtors. As the mother of 5 grown children and soon-to-be 14 grandchildren, Alice understands the importance of family and community involvement. She is a 16-year veteran of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life effort. She volunteers for the Mural Society of Lake Placid and is active in Lake Placid Garden Club. Let 25+ years of experience, compassion and passion work for you. Some good advice from Mark Twain: “Buy land, they’re not making it anymore.”
