Great day back on the slopes . Decent snow, no crowds, lots of fun. We just rode the gondola to the top of Little Whiteface, skied down, hopped back on the gondola (no lines), and repeat. Even got a pretty good burrito for lunch. It was a little chilly starting out at 10 degrees but we generated plenty of warmth skiing and the gondola kept us toasty back up to the top.

The sun is out! After a couple wet, cold days, it’s a gorgeous morning in the Adirondacks! I stopped by Simply Gourmet for a breakfast burrito and took Maddie for a long walk on the Brewster Peninsula Trails on Lake Placid. There’s still fall color on the trails and snow at the higher elevations. Whiteface Mountain shined bright in the distance. So very thankful for this life adventure.

Great day hiking Wright Peak. Our 8th 46er peak. Wright is known to be extremely windy at the summit, but we lucked out with a calm day, hardly any wind, beautiful weather and very dry on the trail. Excellent conditions for a hike. Also great to see the fall color starting to pop!
