In May 2021, 5.8 million existing single-family homes were sold in the U.S. That’s a 45% increase over the 4 million homes sold in May 2020!

But thanks to rising prices and a shortage of available properties, May 2021 was also the fourth straight month to see a decline in home sales

Experts predict total home sales to finish 3.8% over last year, but forecast a slight decline of 2.2% sales volume in 2022

Mortgage interest rates matter BIG TIME when you’re buying a home.

Why? Because unless you’re a 100% cash buyer, you’re going to have a monthly mortgage payment, and part of that payment is interest!

When your interest rate is low, more of your money goes toward your actual house. Interest rates affect your monthly payment, and ultimately, your lifestyle.
