Palomino Gardens residents had a memorable Memorial Day. The day commenced with a flag ceremony and an indoor ceremony honoring veteran residents, led by former police veteran Roger A. Gross. The theater was filled as residents gathered to pay tribute to fallen soldiers and recognize their fellow veterans. Following the ceremony, residents enjoyed a day of activities. A patriotic concert performed by the Wellington Chapter Symphony for Seniors was a highlight, with many moved by their grandchildren's performance. Roger A. Gross also presented a meaningful presentation, highlighting historical moments that have shaped the nation. The day was filled with respect, remembrance, and community spirit.

Our residents enjoyed a fascinating and enriching lecture on Leonardo da Vinci—renowned artist, painter, sculptor, and engineer. They explored how his brilliance extended far beyond art. Leonardo’s detailed studies, dissections, and sketches of the human body and mechanics laid the groundwork for many inventions still used today. It was a truly interesting and informative presentation that inspired curiosity and appreciation for one of history’s greatest minds.

It was an afternoon delight of golf and dining. Our residents enjoyed the outdoors at PopStroke, owned by Tiger Woods, while others opted for a cozy indoor experience, savoring lunch at Glimmer Café, a well-known and posh dining spot.
