Valencia at the Park Apartments won the city of Lakeland’s commercial beautification award for July. Developers of the park, located across Orange Avenue from Barnett Family Park, planted at least 60 trees and designed the complex to fit the historic look of the Garden District neighborhood, city horticulturist Bill Koen said when he presented the award at this morning’s City Commission meeting.

Certificate of Occupancy! The video update is from June 21st and the issues I mention have since been resolved. We received our COs on June 27th and will have residents moving in soon.

~ The asphalt parking lot has been poured.
~ The monument sign has been installed.
~ The electricians are installing trim.
~ HVAC - the A/C condensers have been installed.
