💧Heads up, Lakeland homeowners: the city is no longer issuing warnings for Phase III water restriction violations. Fines now start at $50, then $200, then $500 for repeat violations.

If it feels confusing that we've had so much rain lately, you're not alone — the city says we're still in a severe drought, which is why enforcement has picked up.

A quick recap of the rules:
- irrigation is limited to midnight–4am or 8pm–11:59pm
- most properties can only water once a week (schedule below)
- automatic systems need a working rain shutoff device

Check the graphic for your assigned watering day, and confirm your irrigation timer actually matches it.
