🚨 New Polk County Sign Ordinance Update for Real Estate Agents 🚨
Polk County has approved a new ordinance that strengthens enforcement on signs placed within the county right-of-way.
✔️ Immediate $250 fine per sign
✔️ 7-day removal notice
✔️ County removal and billing if not corrected
Moving forward, all real estate sign installations must follow the proper property setbacks. You can verify setbacks using the Polk County Property Appraiser website.
If you’re concerned about signage currently installed at one of your listings, you can submit a repair or compliance request and we’ll come out to make sure everything is positioned correctly 👍
