I hear a lot of clients say they struggle with saving enough to reach their real estate goals.

I want to tell you: I GET IT.

Does saving take discipline? Sure.
Is it impossible? Not at all.

It’s small, methodical choices like:

→ Automate savings.
→ Set specific goals (and talk about them often).
→ Throw extra money at said goals (tax refunds, birthday gifts, bonuses, etc.)
→ Avoid lifestyle inflation (i.e. drive the old car and use the old phone).
→ Get and stay out of debt.
→ Say no when friends say yes.

Trust me, it’s far easier to save a little here and a little there than to give up on your dream of owning real estate altogether.

One thing I get asked all the time? My thoughts on the real estate market.

Want to know my honest take?

If the property is priced appropriately the days on Market before going under contract are much shorter than the sellers that have not made the price adjustment with the current interest rates. Agents need to have the talk with their sellers that a large percentage of buyers have lost out on purchasing power (the purchase price of the house) due to increasing rates (more money towards interest).

If there is some realistic compromise on asking price, buyers who are still wanting to buy WILL BUY! It just has to pencil for all parties. Real Estate remains the strongest investment of all time for a reason.

The BIGGEST thing I want you to take away if you’re thinking about buying or selling? You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the first step. You just need to start heading in that direction. And like *almost* everything in life, you can pivot, pause, or change course altogether at any point. And that, my friends? That gives you the courage and freedom to make the first move today.
