Here's the reason why we're not going to crash:
- I've been saying for some time now that we are going to hit a "correction" and would you believe we are right in the middle of it.
- Interest rates have risen substantially since January, which means the homes they were initially looking at, are now out of reach... dropping the demand for that price point.
- Folks who thought they missed the train to sell their home, put their homes up on the market shooting for the stars because they've seen how much of a sellers market we WERE in - these are the homes that are coming down in price.
- There are less offers on homes on average, homes are sitting on the market for longer on average, and because we're shifting into a more normalized market... we have antsy sellers who want to sell quick and cash out.
