HOMETOWN HEROES (HTH)
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Please be advised that the Hometown Heroes Program funds are fully committed. If your buyers loan is already locked, this will have no impact on their lock. The Lender can proceed as normal to close your transaction.
As a reminder, the Florida Housing Bond and TBA Programs will STILL be available.
Will there be a waitlist? No, starting Monday, January 8th and then every other Monday after that, the system will open to Lenders to allow new Hometown Hero locks on accumulated fallout dollars. This is first-come, first-served.
When will more HTH funds become available? We hope that we will receive an appropriation in the 2024 session to offer the HTH Program in 2024.



Does this mean Florida Housing does not have any program available until 2024? No, Florida Housing still has the Bond and TBA Programs that offer down payment and closing cost assistance.
