My Mother loved her family, Christmas, winter weather ... and new experiences. She had seven babies in her 20's and 30's, and went back to school in her 40's to became a teacher (her second degree! The first was in journalism.) She was in her 50's when she learned how to ski and in her 70's, she started painting pottery and learned how to make stained glass (To heck with burning her thumbs with a soldering iron). Gone too soon but I will always remember my mother's sense of adventure
