I love how we were promised months ago that they were working with electricians to remedy this problem. But here we are, months later, back to the original problem. Still no lights on the vehicles. No wonder this property is a free-for-all for car theft and vandalization.

If you care about your belongings, I do not recommend living here

If Crystal is still working in this office, That's like a quadruple red flag for any perspective tenant.

Do not live here if you want a reasonable and respectful business relationship with your landlord.

Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Two entire years we lived in that building. Two entire years we asked the office and maintenance to repair the security lighting.

2 years of "okay well we are going to try to change the light bulbs first".

2 years of, "well we have to get bids from three different electricians first".

2 years of property damaged and stolen.

Finally, now that we are moving to an apartment complex with a competent office staff, they say they're going to fix the lights.

2 years. Which, coincidentally is the same number of stars that this company has on their Google review page. Maybe they would have better ratings if it didn't take them two entire years to figure out how to make their exterior lighting systems work.

Here we have a months long saga of trying to get the lighting on our building repaired. For the record, the lights have still not been repaired and there has been no communication about when they will be. We may never know because Glen at Lakewood has decided to kick us out for complaining about things like this. Word to the wise, if you ask them to honor their responsibilities, you won't be asked to renew your lease.

A word of warning for current and prospective tenants. You may find yourself living in a place with non functioning lights, unsafe access and broken amenities. Do not complain to the office about your issues. Definitely do not complain about issues that go unaddressed for months at a time. If you do the management will retaliate against you. They won't fix the issues, but they sure will kick you out for complaining about them.
