This hits a little differently this year… well A LOT! Since I was a very little girl I have LOVED touring the Parade of Homes. And this year I was asked by Thaddeus’s Stevens College of Technology to stage their home the students built for it.
I am told it’s one of the most visited and largest foot traffic of them all. Come out and support the students smart technology and custom home they built. 625 Stevens Ave. Lancaster Pa

“Before” was an empty canvas. “After” became a feeling. ✨

This transformation proves something I tell my clients all the time — buyers don’t fall in love with square footage… they fall in love with how a space makes them feel.

What was once a large, empty room with challenging levels and undefined spaces is now warm, inviting, and purposeful. By layering texture, soft neutrals, cozy seating, natural elements, and creating intentional conversation zones, this room instantly feels brighter, larger, and more livable.

✔️ Defined the living space without closing it off
✔️ Added warmth while keeping it light and airy
✔️ Created flow through a difficult layout
✔️ Focused on what buyers notice first: emotion, scale, and lifestyle

This is exactly why staging matters — because empty rooms show square footage… styled rooms sell a story. 🤍

Swipe for the before ➡️ because this one is a reminder that sometimes the biggest transformations don’t require renovations… just vision.

One of my favorite parts of design is the hunt 🤍

I found all of these beautiful thrifted pieces at Community Aid while sourcing for a project, and honestly… shelf styling is where I feel the most creative. Mixing vintage finds with modern elements adds so much character and tells a story you just can’t buy straight out of a showroom.

From the milk glass and blue floral china to the amber hobnail glass and textured stone piece — every item felt special and curated. I love layering old with new to create shelves that feel collected, warm, timeless, and lived in.

Anyone can fill a shelf… but styling one with balance, texture, height, and personality is truly an art ✨

These are the details that make a house feel like home.

“People see the finished spaces… but behind every beautiful home is a lot of heart, vision, chaos, coffee, late nights, and trusting your gut. 🤍
So grateful for every client, every project, and every opportunity to create homes that truly feel special.

Sunday reset mode over here… dreaming up new spaces and soaking in the slow moments before another busy week ahead. ✨”

Q: What has been the biggest part of your growth as a designer?
A: Learning that great design is about more than making a home look beautiful. It’s about creating spaces that feel welcoming, timeless, functional, and truly personal to the people living there.

Q: What inspires your style the most?
A: I’m constantly inspired by natural light, texture, travel, coastal elements, old homes with character, and creating that “bright but cozy” feeling people instantly connect with.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge?
A: Balancing creativity with business and learning to trust my instincts. Early on, I second guessed myself more than I should have. Experience taught me that there’s a reason clients hire me for my vision.

Q: What is something clients may not realize about what you do?
A: So much thought goes into every detail — scale, flow, lighting, functionality, how a room photographs, and most importantly… how it makes someone feel the second they walk in.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a designer?
A: Seeing a client emotional over their finished space. There’s nothing better than watching someone fall back in love with their home.

Q: What keeps you motivated?
A: Growth. I never want to stop learning, evolving, creating, and pushing myself creatively. Every project teaches me something new.

Q: How would you describe your design style?
A: Timeless, layered, light-filled, collected, and welcoming with a mix of coastal warmth and classic elegance.

Q: What advice would you give someone afraid to chase their dream?
A: Start before you feel ready. Growth comes from doing, learning, failing, and continuing anyway. Confidence is built through experience, not before it.

Friday’s Before/After Post
One of my favorite kinds of transformations… taking a dark, heavy great room and creating a brighter, airy, timeless coastal feel while still honoring the architecture of the home.

Fresh paint, lighter built-ins, layered textures, and curated styling completely changed the mood of this space without losing its warmth 🤍

Swipe for the before + after! The difference in light and energy is everything.

Soft coastal blues, timeless textures, and effortless elegance 🌊🩵

Lately I’ve been so inspired by these dreamy layered blue-gray tones paired with warm brass, natural textures, crisp whites, and collected coastal details. The goal is always creating spaces that feel elevated yet livable… calming, timeless, and full of character.

Current favorites:
Benjamin Moore Nantucket Fog, Beach Glass, Palladian Blue & Summer Showers ✨

This palette feels like a breath of fresh air and I am completely obsessed.
