If you love Filipino food, you NEED to check out at their pop-up 🤤

I’m telling you right now, the beef empanadas are a MUST. Like… don’t just get one. They’re SO good and definitely one of those things you’ll be thinking about after you leave 🥟

They’ve got all kinds of goodies too — pancit, egg rolls, empanadas, and their cheese sticks are next level. And apparently they come in Hot Cheetos AND Takis flavors?! Say less 😂

And because it’s still giving why is it this hot outside, they’ve got slushies too! Grab some food, grab a cold drink, support a local small business, and call it a good day 🥵

Seriously though, put on your list and go show them some love at their next pop-up! You can thank me later 😋

I think we all have those days where we need breakfast at a random time of day, right?! 🥞

Their supreme classic skillet did not disappoint 🍳

The food was well portioned, presented and tasted great 👍🏻 👍🏻

Now I know someone is going to ask, why no waffles at “waffle” kitchen, but this skillet spoke to me. It needed me as much as I needed it 🤣

This place is either a great breakfast themed sports bar or a sports bar themed breakfast place in Palmdale 🏆

So if you need a beer with your waffle they’ve got you covered 🧇🍺

Southern comfort at its absolute finest ✨

Crispy chicken strips fried golden brown, juicy on the inside, with just the right crunch on the outside 🍗

Slow-simmered collard greens seasoned to perfection, carrying that rich, smoky Southern flavor 🥬🔥

Fluffy white rice smothered in hearty, savory gravy that ties the whole plate together 🍚

Creamy banana pudding layered with vanilla wafers and fresh banana slices, the perfect sweet ending 🍌

The flavors were out of this world 🌎💛 and the portions were generous enough to leave me full and happy 🥰

Service? Vince was beyond amazing — his friendly smiles, fast service, and warmth, provided a welcoming atmosphere ⭐

Definitely will be back for another round of Southern comfort food bliss 🙌

Let’s talk about 🛼

If you’re looking for a fun place where kids can get off their screens, get moving, make friends, and just have a good time, you’re going to want to check out Wheels of Fun!

Duana Garrett is bringing a brand-new skating rink to Lancaster, created especially for kids ages 5–12. After spending more than 40 years working with children, Duana noticed that some kids had never even had the opportunity to experience roller skating. She wanted to create a place where kids could come together, try something new, build confidence, learn new skills, and make memories with their families.

What makes Wheels of Fun especially special is that children with special and sensory needs are welcome, too. The goal is to create a safe, welcoming, family-centered space where kids can play, socialize, stay active, and feel comfortable being themselves 🧡

And yes… there will be bright-orange skates, a snack bar, and birthday party rooms! Plus, glow parties are coming soon, so there’s even more fun on the way!

Just a reminder: children ages 5–12 must have an adult 21 or older with them at all times.

GRAND OPENING IS TOMORROW, AUGUST 16, FROM 11 AM–6:30 PM! 🎉

Okay, I have to share this because if you haven’t tried yet, you’re seriously missing out! 😍

Everything is 100% fresh and homemade, and you can definitely taste the difference. Their churros are SO good and the mini ones are dangerously easy to finish 😂

Their milkshakes and sundaes are perfect when you’re craving something sweet, and the mini pancakes are another must-try 🤤

They also have iced coffee, lemonade, and tea when you want something refreshing🍋

And the best part? They’re coming to a new location at 30th & Ave L soon! 🎉

I love seeing local businesses grow, so I wanted to share them and encourage you guys to go support them when they open💕

I already know I’m going back for those churros 😉
