Happy Juneteenth! Today is a celebration of federal troops arriving in Galveston Texas on June 19th, 1865. To honor that legacy, we want to uplift some places and spaces in Lancaster County that honor that history in Central Pennsylvania.

Coordinated by Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church the "Living the Experience" program is an interactive educational reenactment that depicts events, people and places in Lancaster during that time.
