What do you think they should do with the old County Prison? 🏰 ⛓️

Lancaster Township Supervisors voted to pass the land development plan for the new county prison.

The old Prison dates back to before the civil war and was completed in 1851 🥁

The city is hosting an open house to hear comments on how the area should be reused on November 6th.

Lancaster City released their 10 year master plan to help with tourism. 🌹 🌆

Lancaster County has seen an increase in tourism over the past decade as we hit an all time high in visitors at 10 Million and generated $2.7 Billion in local spending. The city wants to capitalize off of this by creating a city brand, upgrading the welcome center, and implementing techniques to guide visitors to other parts of the city.
