Too hot to barbecue? No problem! When it's too hot outside for Weiner Wednesday, we move it indoors to our club room. All residents are invited. Good food, great company.

Did you know that all the beautiful flowers on Clock Towers property are planted and maintained by residents here?

Hamilton Watch Company, established in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has carved a prestigious niche in the world of timekeeping. Renowned for its innovative design and precision, Hamilton quickly became synonymous with accuracy, especially after supplying watches to the U.S. Armed Forces during World War I and II. Their commitment to craftsmanship and innovation led to the creation of the world's first battery-powered watch, the Hamilton Electric 500, in 1957, marking a significant milestone in watchmaking history. Today, Hamilton continues to be celebrated for its fusion of American spirit with Swiss precision, offering a wide range of watches that cater to both professional timekeepers and fashion-forward consumers. Shown here is the Hamilton Watch factory floor taken on March 24, 1930.

KEEP THE CLOCKS RUNNING

It began on Friday when the equipment with the lift rolled up to the Clock Towers, to remove the old wooden hands on the eight clock faces, as the first step towards satellite technology to keep the clocks running.

Thanks for sharing an outstanding throw back in time for our historic building.

Thanks for sharing an outstanding throw back in time for our historic building.

Here is an incredible aerial shot of the Hamilton Watch Company and Columbia Avenue from way back on March 12, 1938! Captured by the talented Henry S. Kenderdine, Sr., it's like a window to the past.

Members of the Keep the Clocks Running Committee gathered last night on First Friday at Brent Miller Jewelers & Goldsmiths Hamilton Watch Store on N Duke Street, to celebrate the historic old clock on the outside of the Ezra Bowman Building at a special event.

Ryan Miller of Brent Miller Jewelers, has played an important role for the Clock Towers project to update our building’s historic clocks, and we look forward to our own future dedication of the eight tower clocks after the upgrade is completed.
