Required by federally backed loans, and becoming more common with conventional loans, HUD Manufactured Home Foundation Certifications are becoming more prevelant. If you intend to make an offer on a manufactured home, be sure to ask your lender about this inspection so you can budget for it. These range from $450-$700 depending on what is all involved, and can be a nasty surprise if you’re not made aware of them beforehand.
