Can we PLEASE have a moment for my very first real estate headshot?! 😂😂😂
Because 16 YEARS AGO TODAY, that girl officially became a real estate agent. 🏡
And let me tell you… she had absolutely NO idea what she was getting herself into. 😂
I've grown up in this business — and my family has grown up right alongside it.
When I started, I was building a real estate career while raising little kids. Now those little kids are teenagers and adults, and somewhere in between the school drop-offs, practices, showings, contracts, closings and all the chaos of raising a family… I built a business too. 🥹
16 years of changing markets, hundreds of contracts, negotiations, closings, celebrations, disappointments, lessons, late-night phone calls, crazy situations you truly couldn't make up 😂… and a whole lot of houses.
But when I look back, the houses aren't really what I think about.
It's the people.
The families who trusted me with their first home. The sellers who handed me the keys to one of their biggest investments. The clients who came back years later. The people who have referred their friends, their kids, their parents and their coworkers to me. And the clients who somewhere along the way became friends.
This career has grown into so much more than I ever imagined when that girl got her license 16 years ago. 😂
I built a business.
I am building a team.
I started helping other agents build theirs.
And this year, I finally got to add BROKER to the journey. 🥹
That one feels pretty special.
I'm incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me, supported me, referred me, worked alongside me and cheered me on over these last 16 years.
And more than anything, I'm grateful to God for every door He's opened, every lesson He's taught me and every season He's carried me through.
God has been so, so good.
16 years in… and somehow I feel like I'm just getting started. 🖤
Cheers to the next 16. 🏡
