I am extremely grateful for every client that trusts me with some of the biggest financial decisions they make in life. I met Scott & Jan early in my career. In fact, they were my very first listing appointment. They had a cottage in Manheim that was under construction, and it would be quite some time until it was ready for them. I was able to walk them through what they could expect for the price of the home and what the sale process would entail. They were very kind, as patient as I was a new realtor, stumbling my way through the market analysis to give clear detail of what their home was worth. After the meeting, I continued to stay in touch, checking in from time to time to see how they're doing and stay up to date on their timeline. They even had me come visit a time or two so I could see their progress and give recommendations on what to do next.
Fast forward to last month, Scott reached out to let me know their new home was ready, and they were ready to get their home listed on the market. I met with them again and saw the great progress they had made on getting their home ready. I gave them final pointers and we set a time for me to come back to get their home listed. When we met for the listing, I reviewed my findings on the market reflecting the recent comparable local sales, and together we were able to settle on a price that felt right to all of us.
We faced a few unexpected twists and turns in the sale process, and we landed with an incredible offer. Even though I've sold 10 homes since our first meeting, I still consider them to be my first clients, and I am extremely grateful they gave me the opportunity to help them sell their home.
