The Lancaster Police Department would like to advise the public of an upcoming traffic change beginning June 3, 2026.

All traffic in the 100 blocks of West Chestnut Street and East Chestnut Street will be converted to a one-way roadway traveling westbound. This change will allow for parking on both sides of the street and create up to 20 additional parking spaces in the downtown area.

We ask drivers to use caution in the weeks following this change as traffic patterns adjust. Please pay close attention to posted signage and be mindful of other drivers, pedestrians, and parked vehicles.

If you haven't seen already. The new Ohio eLicense portal is up. Takes a few to verify and get an OHID if you didn't have one already. This should make anything real estate easier on the agent/state/brokerage back end.
