I'm sure at one point in time, you have heard some of these words. But what do they mean?

Pre approvals from the bank are necessary before house hunting. Not having one is like going to the grocery store without knowing if you have money in your account.

Earnest money deposit (EMD)- It’s like putting a deposit down on a vacation—you’re not just thinking about going, you’re committed.

And the appraisal? That’s the store double-checking the price before they let the transaction go through. Because who wants to pay $13 for a candy bar thats truly only worth $3.
