Home sales dropped nationally from November to December as listings became even more scarce. More homes are coming on the market in January, but competition among buyers will get even more fierce, according to real estate experts.

Home sales dipped by a seasonally adjusted 3.6 percent seasonally-adjusted from November to December, according to Redfin, a national real estate brokerage; it was the largest month-over-month sales decline since May 2020.

"Home sales are slumping, but not for lack of demand," said Redfin Chief Economist Daryl Fairweather in a release. "There are plenty of homebuyers on the hunt, but.....

Happily surprised at the response time from Philadelphia Gas Works in resolving my tenant's issue. They replaced a meter which caused issues with no hot water, they came out to fix it having to turn off the heat in 20-degree weather!

As a landlord, I was nervous as I want to provide everything in my control to my tenants, but I had no control over this. They resolved it as quickly as they could without me having to resort in getting space heaters in the middle of the night. To be honest I did not have that much faith in this to start. I'm very pleased with the outcome as are my tenants. Thank you PGW
