As the days get shorter and the evenings get cooler, there's nothing better than a warm, inviting home filled with soft lighting, cozy blankets, and plenty of snuggles! 🥰

A pet-friendly home isn't just about fenced yards and room for zoomies. It's also about creating comfortable spaces where everyone can relax and unwind.

A little preparation now can help keep your home cozy and prevent costly surprises when temperatures drop. Add these tasks to your fall checklist:

✅ Insulate windows and doors with weatherstripping to help keep drafts out.
✅ Service your heating system and replace the filter.
✅ Seal air leaks around openings where chilly air sneaks in.
✅ Insulate exposed pipes in unheated areas to help prevent freezing.
✅ Clean gutters and downspouts so water can drain properly.
✅ Prepare the fireplace with a professional chimney inspection and cleaning before use.
✅ Protect outdoor faucets and hoses by disconnecting and draining hoses and winterizing outdoor faucets.
