🏡 Is the Greater Lansing market slowing down—or is this simply August?

We ARE seeing inventory build in parts of our market.

Lansing: 2.61 months
East Lansing: 2.38 months
Okemos: 3.06 months

But Mason is still below one month of supply, and several other communities remain very tight.

Here’s the part the numbers alone don't tell you:

Late August is traditionally a slower time for real estate. Families are taking those last vacations, getting children ready for school and settling into new routines.

Nationally, buyers also have more choices—active inventory has reached its highest level since 2019.

👀 So what am I watching?

The market after Labor Day.

Once everyone settles into fall, we'll have a much better indication of whether we're seeing a normal seasonal pause or the beginning of a more meaningful shift.

That’s why I don't believe in reacting to one week's headline. I watch the trend—and then help my clients build their strategy around it.

4371 Rexford Ave is officially off the market!

This house was not just any flip! I helped my client purchase the home almost one year ago. At that time, the house had good bones, however it was in need of a good cleaning and major updating. He took out walls, installed new windows, added a slider leading to a new deck, cleaned up the yard, gutted the kitchen and both bathrooms…down to the studs! Put in new plumbing, mechanicals, flooring throughout, exterior doors, fixed a heaving driveway, added a shed and more. It was a true transformation that the whole neighborhood was watching! The new lucky buyers quickly fell in love and are now the proud owners.

This was one of my favorite properties this year as I was part of the transformation and got to know the new owners. What a gift this experience has been, and congratulations to both sides of this deal! 🔑👏🏼🎉
