Colonial Townhouses Cooperative, Inc.

Colonial Townhouses is a non-profit Corporation under the laws of Michigan. We were formed to provide affordable housing to qualified members.

As a member, you own a membership equity share in the corporation. Unlike a condominium, you do not own the townhouse, or have a monthly mortgage. Instead you purchase a membership and then pay a very low and affordable monthly “carrying charge”.

There are Federal Tax Benefits to individuals of Colonial Townhouses Cooperative. Your share of mortgage interest and real estate taxes are deductible on personal income tax return.
