Just returned from a showing of the 58 acres on Bevens Rd. The runways were active with fresh tracks. We jumped a few deer on our walk too. That property has a pretty darn cool "hunters" cabin. Every time I open the door it brings back so many deer season memories from the 80's and 90's. Times spent with family and friends a deer camp.

You can always find something amazing when you spend time on the back roads. There were 3 hens who all seemed have a group of poults. I'd guess close to 25 or so young ones. It's not an easy task for a young turkey to survive in the wild. Looks like these groups are doing well so far. Hats off to the hens for doing a good job of raising them.

Heading out to show a couple properties today. First one a 43 acre parcel in Lapeer County. Second one 56 acres in Tuscola County. Going to be warm in the woods today.

I'm not always hunting land. Added a few antique barn pulleys to our collection this week. Few hours of wire brushing to get off all the rust and dust and a good coat of WD 40 cleaned them up. Most of these are from the early to mid 1900's.
