A Murder at Cheeseburger
David has informed us that the book is now available for purchase at the following locations:

- Scheurer Pharmacy in Harbor Beach
David's first book festival and signing with this novel is in Frankenmuth Friday July 3rd and 4th, 2:45–7:00 PM, at the River Place Shops.
The new novel is set against the backdrop of Caseville's beloved annual Cheeseburger Festival, where a tornado strikes during the celebration and a popular Bay City nurse dies under suspicious circumstances. When his body goes missing after exhumation, reporter Nick Steele follows the trail into a web of greed, depravity, and secrets that reach further than anyone in Caseville wants to admit.

SCAM ALERT 🚨

Suspicious Zoom Request

A Realcomp subscriber was contacted about a lease listing and asked to join a Zoom meeting. When the meeting link would not connect, he called the person who had given him the zoom meeting link and she instructed the agent to disable firewall and security software in order to make it work.
Deciding that something didn’t feel right, the subscriber declined and quickly reported the incident.

Disabling security protections at the request of an unsolicited contact is a major red flag. Legitimate companies will never require this.

If this happens to you:
• Do not disable security software
• Do not install remote tools
• End the call and verify independently

Scam alert – Agents throughout the US (including Berkshire County) are receiving suspicious texts from an inquiring buyer asking to have a zoom call (example below for a text from out of our …
