UPDATE: After several weeks of work, Severs Road is now open!

While the end of utility work has made the road passable, more road work will need to be completed in the coming weeks. However, this will require only intermittent single-lane closures.

🚨 Due to an unforeseen emergency and necessary repairs in downtown La Porte today, the Activity Center of La Porte will be closing early. The ACOA is closed as of 2 p.m.

Keep in mind, the intersection of Lincolnway and US 35 will be closed due to a nearby gas leak. This will also include portions of Lincolnway west of the intersection. The length of the closure is unknown at this time. In the meantime, please avoid the area.

NOTICE: INTERSECTION OF LINCOLNWAY AND US 35 TO CLOSE DUE TO NEARBY GAS LEAK....

We have been notified by INDOT that the intersection, as well as portions of Lincolnway west of the intersection, will be closed effective immediately. The length of the closure is unknown at this time, but we will update once we know more.....

PLEASE AVOID THE AREA!
