One of the best tax moves we ever made had nothing to do with finding a better deal.

it has everything to do with your wife/husband becoming a real estate professional.

Most people think that is about selling houses. In the right household it is a legal tax elimination strategy that can save your family tens of thousands of dollars every single year.

We were leaving this on the table for years before we figured it out.

Swipe through and see exactly how it works. And if this hits home, share it with someone who needs to see it.

Just landed in downtown Houston for NAPE 2026!!

If you're here over the next couple days, let's link up!!
I'm here to make connections, explore deals, and meet other oil and gas guys doing real things.
Royalties. Minerals. Assets. All of it.

I'm looking to connect with operators and dealmakers who could be a fit for a new branch of Bighorn Capital, giving our investors access to oil and gas opportunities alongside our real estate portfolio.

From the oil fields to the real estate game, this world is in my DNA. Excited to bring these two worlds together.

You in Houston this week? let's meet up!

The tax code isn't broken. It's just written for investors and business owners, not W2 employees.
Three years ago I was handing the IRS $60K+ a year as a petroleum engineer. Good money, massive tax bill, zero time with my boys.
So we changed the game.
Now our four sons earn tax-free income in our businesses. Our rentals create deductions that offset W2 income. Accelerated depreciation turns a $500K property into a $150K+ year-one deduction. And our family trips double as business travel.
No loopholes. Just playing the game the tax code was already set up for.
Swipe through for all five strategies we use to legally keep more of what we earn, and put it toward rentals, our sons' Roth IRAs, and the life we actually want.

Doing your taxes this year and watching that number climb?

I get it. I used to be there.

Here's what changed everything for me: I stopped playing by W2 tax rules and started playing by real estate investor rules.

The difference? The tax code is DESIGNED to reward real estate investors. Trump literally wrote parts of it. The government wants you solving the housing crisis.

Swipe through for the 2 simplest strategies I know to legally reduce your tax bill to $0 next year

Strategy #1: STR Loophole (both spouses working full-time)
Strategy #2: Real Estate Professional Status (one spouse part-time or willing to transition)

Both involve buying real estate. Both are 100% legal. Both are how wealthy people keep more of what they earn.

Next tax season doesn't have to look like this one.

Most people don’t decide against travel, they let routine decide for them.

Over time, that default mode limits perspective without us noticing. Travel breaks that pattern and reminds us that life can be designed, not just managed.

That’s why financial freedom matters. It creates the flexibility to choose experiences on purpose instead of postponing them.

My mission is to help 1,000 families build that kind of control.

Every parenting decision comes with a tradeoff.
Busy schedules can look productive, but they often replace shared experiences.

Travel forces a different choice, growth over convenience, perspective over routine. And when kids watch us navigate the unfamiliar, they learn how to do the same.

That’s why financial freedom matters to me. It creates margin to prioritize what actually shapes our families.

My goal is to help 1,000 families build that flexibility.

Experiences do something that things never will.
They slow time down. They create perspective. They build confidence, for kids and parents.
When you step outside routine, kids learn how to adapt, how to problem-solve, and how to trust themselves. Families learn how to work together instead of just getting through the week.
This is why financial freedom matters to me.
Not for flashy stuff, but for margin. Margin to say yes to trips, conversations, and moments that actually shape a family.
My goal is to help 1,000 families create that kind of freedom and flexibility.
If that’s something you’re working toward too, the first step is simple.

We all want to protect our kids.
But confidence isn’t built by avoiding discomfort, it’s built by working through it.
New places create challenges, and those challenges teach adaptability. That’s how kids learn to trust themselves.
This is why financial freedom matters to me. Not for luxury, but for margin, space to explore, grow, and figure things out together.
My goal is to help 1,000 families create that margin.

Before the year wraps up, slow it down for a minute.
These questions aren’t about getting the “right” answers, they’re about understanding how your kids experienced the year. What they loved. What was hard. What mattered to them.
And here’s the part most people miss:
After they answer, share yours too.
Connection grows when it goes both ways.
This is why financial freedom matters to me. Not for more stuff, but for more space to have conversations like this, without rushing to the next obligation.
My goal is to help 1,000 families create that margin in their lives.
If you want to start building toward that, the first step is simple.

One day your kids won’t remember your work schedule.
They’ll remember the moments you showed up.
Travel has a way of slowing time down and pulling families back together.
It creates confidence, reduces anxiety, and turns challenges into shared wins.
Freedom doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s built intentionally.
I’m helping 1,000 families build the kind of financial foundation that creates time, not pressure.

I'd rather buy my kids a plane ticket than a PlayStation.

This month I took my family to Africa.
The toys will be forgotten in 6 months.
But my kids watching the sun rise over the African savanna? That rewired something in them.
That's not a memory. That's identity.
Most parents think travel is what you do after you've "made it."
Wrong.
Travel is how you make them.
Every trip installs: → Adaptability when plans fail → Confidence in the unfamiliar → Curiosity over fear
Rich parents aren't spending on trips for Instagram. They're investing in worldview.
I left the oil rigs to build freedom so I could be there when it matters.
Now I'm helping 1,000 families do the same through the Revive Network (free to join).

So when your kid asks "Can we go?" you just say yes.
That's real wealth.
