67,680 Pounds. Nearly 34 tons. That’s how much weight in glass Laramie and Albany County just recycled together! Instead of being buried in our landfill, this glass was sent to a Denver facility to be reused.

As a reminder, it’s free of charge to recycle glass. You don’t have to sort by color, but please remove any caps, corks, and lids. PLEASE DON'T PUT GLASS IN THE RECYCLING CART, as it will break and become embedded in the cardboard, causing contamination issues. If you bin your glass, put it in the trash.

A special thanks to the approximately 1,600 people who dropped off their glass at the recycling center since our last shipment.
