Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed on Saturday! Daylight Saving Time officially goes into effect on Sunday, March 13, at 2:00 a.m.

Some history of Daylight Saving Time:
Germany was the first country to adopt Daylight Saving Time on May 1, 1916, as a way to conserve fuel during World War I. The rest of Europe soon followed, but the United States didn't adopt Daylight Saving Time until 1918. It was abolished after the war ended and did not become standard until the Uniform Time Act was passed in 1966.

Moving is chaotic. There’s a lot to get done, and a lot to organize. Here are 3 tips to make moving easier.

1. Make your most useful belongings accessible
The last thing you want after moving into a new place is to have to dig through a jumble of belongings to find the stuff you need right away, such as clothes or cookware. So when packing, make sure you tuck away your home essentials somewhere easily accessible.

2. Check in with your insurance agent
Before you start moving, call up your insurance agent and ask about how to insure your valuables for transport. You may want to verify or change your plan, particularly if you will be working with a moving company. This is also a good time to help your agent change your address, and to discuss the best insurance plan for your new place.

3. Update your address info

What inspired this day of celebration?
The origins of this celebration go back nearly 160 years to an event that played an important role in Mexico's remaining an independent nation.
Contrary to popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day. It is based on the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.
Although the war continued for another five years, the one-day Battle of Puebla was a huge moral victory for the people of Mexico. It showed them that they could defend their country against a powerful European nation.
