Curious about what lenders are looking at when you apply for a home loan?

To determine a Pre-Approval they will review your recent bank statements to make sure that you know how to manage your money. They are also checking to make sure there aren’t any “suspicious” large deposits that are “undocumented” or “unseasoned”.

What’s undocumented or unseasoned??
♦️Undocumented - doesn’t have proof of it’s source. (Proof such as payroll deposits, invoices to customers for services, gift letters from friends or family trying to help out)
♦️Unseasoned - the deposit is too recent and has not spent enough time in the account. (Think of marinating food, it’s isn’t ready yet 😂)
