Today always makes me pause. Being a veteran spouse and military mom has given me such a deep respect for all the men and women who have served and for the families who stand quietly behind them.
I've seen the goodbyes, the homecomings, the strength it takes to hold everything together while someone you love is serving far from home. Our veterans and their families truly know the meaning of sacrifice, resilience, and love of country.
To my veteran husband and active-duty son, to all who have served and to those still serving, thank you! You are the reason we get to wake up in freedom each day. Your courage has shaped our nation, and your example inspires generations.
And to my fellow military families, you're heroes in your own right. Your support, love, and steady strength make all the difference.
