97 degrees and people are still out here walking Downtown Summerlin. After 4pm the buildings create so much shade it actually feels completely different. Las Vegas heat is real but it does not stop locals from getting outside and enjoying this place.

If you are thinking about moving to Las Vegas, this is real life. The 215 is one of the main freeways that loops around the valley and it connects everything from Summerlin to Henderson. It is beautiful and it is convenient and people drive it like they have somewhere to be yesterday. Knowing what to expect before you get here makes a big difference.

Replying to @❌SkiCoachJan❌ Locals know the real Las Vegas has nothing to do with casinos. Kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking Red Rock Canyon, Mount Charleston, and Lake Mead are right outside your door. This is the side of Vegas nobody shows you.
