There is a lot of talk and misconceptions about “perceived” high interest rates. Don’t get me wrong they are higher than they were in 2020, 2021, and 2022 however they are trending below the average since the 1970s which is approx. 7.74%.

If you are ready to buy and you’re waiting for rates to decrease considerably, you’ll be waiting a long time. You’ll miss out on building equity and may pay more for a home when the buyer pool surges at any “material” drop in rates!
