Beginning on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, all property type listings in the MLS system (Matrix™) will begin to calculate Cumulative Days on Market (CDOM). The Cumulative Days on Market (CDOM) offers a more comprehensive view of how long the property has been actively marketed. It provides the sum of Days on Market for all listings associated with the same property when the listing is expired or withdrawn and relisted multiple times by the same office or agent, and when there are 30 days or less between the end of one listing and the start of another. CDOM will only be visible to MLS members and on agent displays/reports. The field will not be visible in any IDX feeds or fed to third party portal through broker syndication.

CDOM resets for any newly entered listing:

- If no previous listings for the property are present, or

- Immediately after the previous listing is Closed, or

- 31 days after the previous listing for a property that was Expired or Withdrawn and a new listing is entered.

NOTE: This only applies to listings re-listed within the same brokerage or agent. CDOM will reset if the property in listed with another brokerage.

Reverse Prospecting is a feature that facilitates agents getting in touch with each other for mutual benefit. Listing Agents can easily find other agents with buyers looking for properties like the ones they represent for sellers. Agents working with Potential Buyer(s) can make a saved search available for Reverse Prospecting by clicking the "Available for Reverse Prospect" checkbox under the Automatic Email settings. List Agents with matching properties can now more easily find you. Reverse Prospecting is completely anonymous for buyers, as they are not given customer names or contact information.

The MLS Board of Directors is looking for members to serve on the 2023 MLS Quality Control Committee. The Quality Control Committee has four (4) open positions for 2023; each position is for a two (2) year term.

The MLS Quality Control Committee shall be responsible for reviewing the accuracy and integrity of all listing data to ensure compliance with MLS Rules and Regulations.

The deadline to apply is 5:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022.
