This is a letter from our President of The National Association of Realtors.

This is truly a song day and I along with my fellow Realtors want to express our thanks to all of those worked so hard to save so many lives. I also wanted my friends and associates who were not aware of what are association actually does for the homeowners of this country.

Today, as we recognize the solemn anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, we remember and honor the lives lost and express our deepest gratitude to the brave individuals who responded to the call of duty on that fateful day. Their courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us all.



Recognizing that all Americans had a role to play in responding to such a grave tragedy, Ieaders of the National Association of REALTORS® quickly mobilized in the immediate aftermath of the attacks, securing contributions to aid those impacted.



Out of these efforts, the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) was established, providing urgent housing-related assistance to families affected by the devastation. Within just 100 days, over $8.4 million was raised and distributed, ensuring that families could remain in their homes during a time of immense uncertainty, loss and grief.



Since its formation, the RRF has grown to become a vital resource for Americans facing disasters. Over the past 23 years, the RRF has disbursed over $43 million in aid, assisting over 23,000 families nationwide. Importantly, every dollar donated goes directly to those in need, as the National Association of REALTORS® covers all administrative costs, ensuring 100% of funds collected are allocated to relief efforts. The foundation stands as a beacon of hope for those impacted by tragedy and disaster, and as we remember the events of September 11th, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting families in their time of greatest need.
