Founded after a life-changing burn injury, My Scars Are Beautiful was created to help survivors find the support, connection, and community that can be so difficult to find after trauma. Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of supporting survivors both emotionally and financially while creating opportunities for healing, hope, and belonging.

One of the moments highlighted in the interview was a Survivor Squad outing to a Vegas Golden Knights game, where survivors were able to step away from the challenges they face each day, make memories, and simply enjoy the moment together.

As we prepare to celebrate 10 years of impact on June 20, we are grateful for every survivor, volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter who has been part of this journey. Thank you for helping us create a community where healing happens, confidence grows, and every story inspires change.
