The First 50 Years: My Eras Tour
As I turn 50, I canβt help but think of these first five decades as my own Eras Tourβa celebration of every adventure, detour, setback, triumph, and every version of myself that brought me here.
My life has never been a straight line. Itβs been a series of beautiful resets.
Iβve called Seattle (twice), Las Vegas (twice), Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico home, and each place has shaped me.
I started college, took a break, and graduated at 30. Looking back, that wasnβt starting overβit was proof that life doesnβt have to follow someone elseβs timeline.
Reinvention has become my superpower.
At 30, I built a career that served me for nearly two decades. Then I chose to start over again, leaving it behind to enter one of the most competitive real estate markets in the country. Somehow, I landed exactly where I belonged, surrounded by an incredible team at the premier luxury brokerage in Las Vegas.
Along the way, another passion found me.
Architecture. Design. Preservation.
What began as curiosity became purpose. Restoring two remarkable homes led to opportunities I never imagined, including being featured in Atomic Ranch magazine.
Life has also taught me that love isnβt always found once.
Sometimes love asks us to rebuild.
To heal.
To redefine ourselves.
And to believe our best chapters havenβt been written yet.
Looking back, I donβt define these 50 years by the places Iβve lived, the careers Iβve built, or the homes Iβve restored.
I define them by my willingness to begin again.
Again.
And again.
Some people call it determination.
Others call it grit.
An unstoppable work ethic.
An indestructible spirit.
Maybe itβs all of those things.
I simply know that every setback became another renovation, every ending became another beginning, and every version of myself prepared me for the next.
If these first 50 years have taught me anything, itβs that reinvention isnβt something you do once.
Itβs a way of living.
And after all these eras, I have a feeling the next chapter might just be the best one yet. β¨
And to the little girl who had no idea what life had in store for herβ¦
Iβm so proud of you.
You were braver than you knew, stronger than you believed, and more resilient than you could have ever imagined.
You kept saying yes to new adventures, even when they were scary. You got back up after heartbreak. You kept believing after disappointment. You built a beautiful lifeβnot because it was easy, but because you never stopped beginning again.
Thank you for never giving up on us.
