➡️Pre-approval - it is a crucial first step of the process. Knowing how much you can afford will give us a clear understanding of what you can shop for. It can also help us determined if we need to do a few things as far as credit to get you where you need to be.
➡️Earnest money deposit - this money is held in Title and used towards the purchase price of the home 💰
➡️Appraisals - these are necessary when buying/selling a home because banks won’t lend money if the appraised value of the home is less than the loan amount. There are occasions where these are waived.
➡️Closing costs - Although these fees are typically paid at the end of the transaction, right now is a perfect time to get these closing costs paid for. A lot of sellers are offering to pay for buyers closing costs.
