This past weekend in Paso Robles, CA., we celebrated the beautiful life of my amazing grandma, Sharon. We found peace as we released the doves, watching them fly together, symbolizing the reunion of two hearts and souls, as she joins my grandpa, the love of her life.

A heartfelt weekend with family and close family friends, all sharing wonderful stories about a special and unique woman. An amazing woman I’ve learned so much from….to love with all your heart, to make family a priority, to have strong work ethic and work hard, but always enjoy life and have some fun.

I’ll miss you every day, but will carry you with me always. I love you grandma. XO 💕 🪽

Everyone needs a trip with their closest friend….

Even when you haven’t seen your best friend in 7 years, it’s like a day hasn’t passed. This is what 37 years and counting of friendship looks like. Not only friendship, but sisterhood. Technically, we are sisters (well, ex sister-in-laws, we were married to identical twin brothers years ago).

Our conversations at 12 years old…..

1. Let’s marry brothers so we can be sisters ✅
2. We will have kids around same time and they’ll be cousins ✅
3. Even if we live far apart someday, we will always stay in touch ✅
4. When we get older, we will take girls trips ✅

And so we took a long overdue trip to North Carolina…. Driving our rented jeep wrangler through the gorgeous scenery singing to our favorite old school songs, shopping, hiking, enjoying downtown Asheville and Hendersonville, craft brewery tours, amazing food, the amenities at our awesome resort, a fantastic day at The Biltmore Estate and a much needed spa day.

If you are lucky enough to have long term friendships with people that live far from you, I highly recommend you plan a trip. Don’t let life get in the way and allow years to go by.

It’s hard to find the words to describe this feeling… When your baby has their first child. To watch my son hold his son has me so full of joy, so full of love, so proud. To hold my grandson brought instant tears to my eyes, tears of joy, tears of overwhelming love and happiness.

Meet Walker Michael, born 3.14.26, the most perfect little guy. I couldn’t be happier for my son and daughter in law, I couldn’t be happier for my family, now blessed with 5 generations. I look forward to all of the happiness and experiences to come.
