There’s a homeownership assistance program specifically designed to help eligible Culinary Union members with purchasing a home — and I’m certified to help navigate this program. 🙌
The Culinary Union Housing Program through Nevada Partners may provide up to $30,000 in down payment assistance to qualified first-time homebuyers.
Here’s what eligible buyers may be able to take advantage of:
✨ Up to $30,000 in down payment assistance
✨ 0% interest on the assistance loan
✨ Generally, no monthly payments on the assistance loan unless the home is sold, rented, or refinanced
✨ Primary residence requirement
✨ Generally, must not have owned a home within the past 3 years
✨ FHA financing may require as little as 3.5% down
✨ Conventional financing may require as little as 1% down
✨ Household income limits apply
✨ 8-hour homebuyer education course + one-on-one counseling at no cost
✨ Buyer must still qualify for the underlying mortgage
✨ Culinary Union membership is required
✨ Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis
